This course is to encourage and teach sewing to beginners who want to start a new hobby or really haven’t got to grips with their sewing machine .
Becky is professionally qualified in dressmaking and pattern cutting and grading. After graduating college Becky worked as a costumier and costume supervisor for the BBC for 15 years. Balancing her life as a Mum with her love of sewing Becky returned to what she loves best – making clothes and has established her own business specialising in bespoke vintage commissions here in Ilkley.
Becky has a passion for both hand and machine sewing and a wealth of knowledge to draw upon, she has recently discovered her enjoyment of sharing these skills with others which has brought her to teaching.
Her good sense of humour, patience and expertise ensure that all beginners will be nurtured so that they can grow in confidence and skills.
