how will you socially distance whilst teaching children?

For Children’s Classes we have slightly amended our teaching plans so that the children will use the sewing machine in the morning and sew by hand in the afternoon. Our machines have speed control and can be controlled by touch as opposed to using the foot pedal so are idea for our junior sewers. We have been teaching children for a number of years so have lots of tricks we can share with them to ensure they are confident – without having to look over their shoulder. Two adult teachers will be in attendance for the class of eight sewers. If you have any concerns please do not hesitate to call to discuss them.

For both Children’s Classes and Young Designers the students are seated around the circumference of the room so we have a clear sight of all students.

Our latest Covid-19 statement can be read on our FAQs page.
