Needle felting is a wonderful craft, even if you don’t think you are very creative. Claire will be able to teach you the basics of needle felting and guide you through the process of making your own adorable felt animal in this workshop.
The workshop is suitable for beginners or those with some experience of felting already for crafters above the age of 16 (sorry this workshop is not suitable for children).
You’ll work alongside no more than 5 other enthusiastic felting crafters.
A seasonal calendar of needle felted cute creatures will be taking place over 2018, we are delighted to launch with…
9.30 – 12.30pm £45
All materials and tools are provided for you to create a gorgeous festive decoration, you choose a bauble or a robin – for you to take away on the day. To keep you going tea and homemade cake are also provided. If you wish to continue your new skill after the day, there will be the opportunity to buy the tools for you to practice your new hobby at home.
If you are familiar with workshops at The Sewing Shed you might recognised Claire as our floristry tutor. A natural creative, Claire fills her spare time crafting and flower arranging . Claire has been teaching workshops of needle felted creatures in the Leeds area for 2 years. She has a patient and nurturing manner with a warm smile and we are delighted that she will be sharing some of her expertise with students at The Sewing Shed
