Sewing parties

Our sewing parties are an excellent excuse for a girls get-together, for celebrating a birthday, or for enjoying a hen night!

You and your guests can learn to sew whatever you want, and if you can’t decide then we’ll gladly suggest (and supply at an additional cost) some project ideas for you.

How much do sewing parties cost?

A sewing party includes the use of a new, fully computerised machine for each guest. Materials are extra; please bring your own, or ask us to quote for putting together the sewing materials you need.

  • Friday night sewing party packages – 2.5 hours: £150
    (includes glass hire!)
  • Saturday bespoke sewing party workshop – 4 hours: £235
    (includes home-made cake and coffee)
  • Saturday bespoke sewing party workshop – 2.5 hours: £150
(add home-made cake at £4.50 per person, or a yummy light lunch or afternoon tea at £7.50 per person).

What will you make?

It’s up to the party guests to decide what to make; just book the date to suit you, and we can discuss what you’d like to learn to sew.

Children’s Sewing Parties – new for 2018!

Now with larger premises I am able to offer Children’s Sewing Parties for up to 10 young enthusiastic crafters. Dependant upon age we can make something for the guests to take home, from brooches to bags, pencil cases or makeup bags.

  • Saturday or Sunday – 2.5 hours: from £150

This includes 2 hours of teaching and half an hour for party tea/clearing up.

“Leonie exceeds expectations by being extremely attentive to what people want out of their time with her. She is always on hand to assist and offer knowledgeable advice and creative suggestions. Her support is not, however, overbearing. She also has a patent wealth of energy and enthusiasm for what she does, which shows.”
