Our mixed ability weekly sewing classes for September are currently full: Email Leonie to join the waiting list or read about our other classes here

Our mixed ability Sewing classes give you the freedom to decide what you want to sew, safe in the knowledge that our expert tutor will be on hand to help you along the way. With small classes and a nurturing, friendly environment these classes are perfect for anyone wanting to learn or develop their sewing skills. From making garments for adults and children to learning core dressmaking skills, our general sewing class is perfect for anyone wanting to develop their sewing skills.

If you’re worried that you’re not ready for our general sewing class though – let me reassure you! With no more than 8 students in a class you’ll be guaranteed plenty of time with the tutor to help you with your sewing project. Our tutors have plenty of experience teaching students, no matter how much experience they have.

        how to book

Our classes are booked in six-week blocks to help ease of payment and diarising. Existing students get preference to re-book classes and can join our subscription payment schedule.

All our weekly sewing classes are currently full and we are operating waiting lists. Email: leonie@thesewingshed.co.uk to join the waiting list, including your mobile number and which class or classes you would like to book.

Evening classes are the most popular so do consider joining our Friday or Thursday daytime classes as the waiting list is shorter or book an individual Saturday Sewing Workshop hosted every first Saturday of the month, for which we have better availability.

I’m sorry we can’t predict how long it will take for a place to become available, but we would love to hear from you. Our waiting list operates on a first come, first served basis so it’s better to get on the list as soon as possible.
